Incident Reporting Arrangements for Network Members Take Effect

Incident reporting arrangements for members of the Velocity Interoperability Network take effect today. Under the arrangements, a member that detects a significant security incident affecting shared Network infrastructure must notify the Department within 24 hours.

The Department will coordinate the response to any incident that affects more than one member, and will issue advisories to the wider Network where a threat is likely to recur.

Reports may be submitted by email to the Department's contact address until a dedicated reporting service is established.
